I just upgraded to the 700 from the 650 (which worked perfectly in my 06 A8). When I pair it with the car I don't get audio going through the Audi system. It still only provides audio through the headset.

All functions work properly...but the audio won't transmit through the speakers. I tried to pair it again 3 times to no avail.

Please help! I did a search but no luck...

My 650 also worked perfect with my 05 A8. When I upgraded to the 680, weird things started: when you dial a number the first time, there is a loud piercing noise that comes out of the speakers until the person on the other end picks up; the following calls are normal and you can hear it ring when you dial a number. When receiving a call, the system deactivates the volume on the radio, however there is no ring tone as was the case with my 650? Very strange, and I am wondering if anyone else has similar experiences. Thanks.

Which 700 (Palm or Windows Software). I had a Sprint PPC-6700 which did not work well at all in my A8. I went to the Palm 700p and things work ok. THe only real problem is that when someone calls in - it displays the number and contact information from the person who called last - not the person who is currently calling.

I have the 700P. Played with it a bit more today and got it to work. Still not as reliable as the 650, but functional none the less.

TRy installing Jetware software on your Treo - It has worked wonders with mine pairing to my S8.
