I just got this car. The previous owner said that he has never been able to adjust the suspension settings from the MMI. When I press the 'car' button, I have no options whatsoever for suspension. First item is 'Central locking'.

The yellow suspension light is on and the car is raised up and really stiff. I took apart the dash and the fuse and relay are good. Last night I disconnected the battery and reset the MMI. Today the car seemed to have let off some pressure and the ride height seemed normal after sitting overnight. After a quick drive to get dinner, the car had raised bank up to full height again. Still no suspension option in the car menu. It's not just greyed out, it's not there at all.

I suppose the first question is have you checked to see that your car doesn't have a coil over conversion?

Good looking out! Lol, but yes, the airbag springs are there. Someone said somewhere that the options may have to be re-enabled? Someone else said that if a battery hadn't been recoded, it could cause some options to be missing. I don't have any battery issues at all. If I press car and settings, I get a message that "there are no more available settings".
