Hello! I am new to this forum and i find it really helpful. I have already solved some of the problems
on my car. However i couldn`t find an answer for these two:

1. Since i updated the MMI from 1180 to 4220 i can no longer use the buttons on the rear roof lights.
Could a fuse be the problem? I have the newest VCDS cable HEX-V2 and tried scanning the car
but the error codes i found where not the ones i was looking for. Also my rear right footwell light
bulb is unplugged. Can that be the problem?

2. Since i got the car i was getting the message ,,Telephone not installed" and i replaced the
telephone module under the driver`s seat. Everything started working except for the microphone.
I got a new one from a parts car and replaced it but without any change... The microphone
was still making weird buzzing noises without any change... When i get closer to the microphone
the other person is able to hear me quietly... There are no fault codes in the Telephone module either!

1. Those lights shouldn't have any relation to the MMI, the switch should work for them. Checking fuses would be a good idea.

2. Sounds like a poor connection, did you check the connector and wiring for corrosion or damage?

One thing that concerns me is both of these things are in your headliner. Clogged or damaged sunroof drains can cause water to collect up there. The moisture can corrode electrics, and if the leak is significant, it can do thousands in damage. So, just to rule it out, check that each one of your 4 sunroof drains allows water to flow freely through them. They each dump out of a different wheel well, so after pouring water in each, you should have 4 separate puddles.

Hello! Thanks for the suggestion, i checked the drains a week ago and they were not clogged.
Also there is no rust on the connectors or wiring..
I was thinking could this be a software issue?
In the CAN Gateway i saw that i don't have Telematics installed. I don't have the voice control module installed.

Also i forgot... i am able to turn on the rear lights by clicking the button for the front lights twice
