Looking at a 2008 A8 with a sport package and thought they came with 20" wheels with the sport package. This one has 18's on it which does not seem right. Am I missing something?

Also noticed it has no heated steering wheel. Even my A6 has that with the winter package. Seems kinda weird to have rear heated seats but no heated steering wheel.

Sport package should be standard 19" wheels, 20" wheels were an option. Sounds like previous owner swapped wheels at some point. Did you verify it actually was a sport? If you check under the adaptive air suspension in the MMI, it should say "Sport".
Excellent reference I found when searching for A8's. It tells all the option packages. Also, I'm pretty sure that the heated steering wheel comes on automatically with the heated driver's seat, at least that's how it worked in my 05. Haven't used this option yet in my 07.

At least this says that by 2008, sport option was 20's. Also notice the three spoke wheel that is part of the package. Heated was available on the four spoke wheels, but not the three spoke ones or the wood ones IIRC.

I have an 07 with the sport option and the package includes 19" wheels and a three spoke steering wheel with shift paddles. I don't think heated steering wheel was available with that package, at least in 07. Mine is a NWB and the sport package gives it a very nice feel, and I love the shift paddles; they can be used in full manual mode or to briefly override automatic.
