Code P0087?
Hi all,
whats the most common issue and fix assosiated with code:
p0087 (fuel rail system pressure- too low)?
Sensor? Fuel phmp? Or just dirt lines in need of fuel injector cleaner?
car drives just fine by the way.
Thanks.

LMGTFY By p 2 you will find a Ross-Tech (VCDS) wiki entry.
I would start w/ a new fuel filter for low cost + easy. May not be it, but would be good practice if you end up on the way to replacing a fuel pump anyway.
Help us and you in turn by also including your general location, year and motor. Among reasons I didn't respond earlier. I can sometimes guess other variables by the year or some other reference, but not here. Thus, if you have an FSI motor there is another whole potential can of worms with the HPFP's.
