you should do many searches on this board for information about each year....major changes in 07 and 08. 2007 and up have revised 4.2 engine with timing belt.

I've replaced a few struts on my A8 for around $500-$600 each and did the labor myself with father-in-law...takes a few hours, but i'm getting much faster...last one was about 4 beers of time.

Yeah I was considering doing the air suspension myself, but I found out that the dealership might have had both rear air suspension struts replaced.

Yeah I have been going through Audi world quite a lot and doing some research on all the pre face lift, and facelift models.

Nope other way around... 04-06 Timing belt. 07+ Timing chain
