The Transporter Car - Audi A8L W12 (Pictures)
The Transporter 2 was not the best movie of our time but the Audi featured in it is at the top of my
favorite car list. This A8L W12 is truly a magnificent car with its huge 6.0L engine and exclusive
interior design, take a look at these pictures and you will see what I mean.

That's called fake...
I love the W12. I saw one pop up with just 55k on it the other day for $33,000 in Chicago. That's a price I can wrap my head around.
Still, the 4.2 gives you 70% of the fun at 50% of the cost.

It was the original Transporter movie that grabbed my boo-boo. From that point forward I knew I would own one someday. I'm not fortunate enough to own a W12, but I am perfectly happy with my A8L.
I suppose that leaves room for improvement in the future...
Carry on.

This should be close, but just Google searches and screen shot capture observation. I can't confirm any of the data.
Transporter: (I'm not a BMW guy so these are quotes from another site.)
"This is a `95-`98 E38 735i". "This is not an 735i. I can't remember exactly the year of it, but anyone can see its a pre facelift. If you watch the movie with directors commentary Jason tells you that This is a rebuilt 735. It has a V12 engine (750) and a manual transmission. It is one of a kind E-38 with V12 AND manual transmission."
Transporter 2:
?2005? D3 A8L 4.2 with W12 badging and grill. It does not have the rectangular W12 tailpipes.
Transporter 3:
Appears to be a ?2008? D3 S8 though I see conflicting reports that it's a W12.

You can tell by the vertical chrome strips in the grill, the front spoiler lip with three slat grill, the brushed aluminum side mirrors, and the SWB profile.
Another indicator is that JL owns, or owned, a black 08 D3 S8 (with S8 badges).
