On my dads 05 A8L we have the 19" Turbine rims with the stock P6 tires. He is careful with checking the pressure so he gets good performance and tire life. The passengers side front tire seems to have uneven wear on it. The outside seems to be wearing much more than any of the other 3 tires. The tires have about 12,000 miles on them and all the others look very good. My question is is this an alignment issue? If so how hard is the A8 to align?

We have a good local tire shop in town that we know and trust and would like to take it to them if possible. If not it requires driving 60 miles to the dealer. Thanks for any input.

If not - then it's most likely an alignment issue. These cars need a 4 wheel alignment done by someone who knows what they are doing.

I mean i dont think Nascar would know what to do with an A8. Fuel Injection, 4wd, air suspension, leather, stereo, German, etc. Who needs that stuff . . . . . .

Check inner suspension bushing on top front control arm. This could be alignment problem that causilng tire ware.
