Unintended Consequence or Stupid Dealer?

Unintended Consequence or Stupid Dealer?
Following the advice from a previous thread (posted below) I asked my dealer to recode module 17 in my 04 A8l to 16213 to eliminate the seat belt chime and keep only the red warning light. The result is exactly as promised, no chime, just the red light when the car starts and is stationary - HOWEVER, if you exceed 5mph the chime starts and WILL NOT STOP until you buckle the belt. This is worse than what I had before!
Has anyone else actually tried this? Did the dealer f*ck this up or is this what this code gets you? Any idea what code to use to get just the red light and NEVER a chime? Any help would be much appreciated.
And yes, I do generally wear my belt, but sometimes i don't want to buckle it to go from my house to my garage, etc.
Thanks,
Alex

Module 17 has four codeings for the seatbet chime (second to last digit (xxxXx).
0 = no warnings
1 = warning light only (red seatbelt sign). This stays on until seatbelt engaged.
2 = Warning light + chime for eight seconds. Both tun off after eight seconds and remain off
3 = warning light + chime. Chimes for 8 in 30 seconds until seatbelt engaged. Warning light also remains on until seatbelt engaged..
My original codeing was 16233. I now have 16223.
Note, I have a '04 A8L. Not tested on any other Audi's.

I did not consider or test the aspect of not wearing a seatbelt when driving
If moving I suspect all the settings with the exception of maybe zero will chime at you. I can't see this being any worse than before since it chimmed at you inssesently anyway, and mostlkly even more so once you started rolling.
I have the 8 second warning for mine. It usefull when parked and I want the ignittion on, eg VAG-COM or sitting in a parking lot with the air conditioner on etc.
Once you are moving you should be wearing your seatbelt.
