So, I got myself a 2016 North American Region 4E0 060 884 EG DVD. Made an image with ImgBurn, burned it to a DVD and plug it in... Smooth sailing without any hiccup, except "Please check Navigation DVD", but that's not new to me, the weather is hot, sometimes it does that. Anyhow, straight forward.

Mine was 2010, there are quite a few new streets created since 2014-2015 in CA with all these real-estate built.

The European 2017 DVDs [there's two of them in the set] have been out since January. Obviously it's 2016 data [the data's date is always the year before the date on the disc] ...

What updated disc? The DVD updated itself

I just mean to have the dvd with the updated roads. This is because Mississippi wasn't really mapped well back in the early 2000s for use in navigation systems.
