What do you think?
I was at the dealer today and complained about frequent issues I was having with a CPO 2004 A8 (mostly interior trim issues and electronic issues). I had bought this car in 9/2007. The manager then offered to buy back my car at the original price that I payed to apply it to a new Q7 or A8 or perhaps A6.
Is this some kind of a trick? Am I missing something here? It seems like a good deal if I was going to upgrade as I would never be able to get the same price for my A8 that I paid on the current market.

THe obvious caveat is what will he charge for the new vehicle?...
...also you must find out what the current "real" value of your car is. Then look at all the data, including gross cost of the new car (before trade).....

That is a good deal.....
If you are seriously not liking the decision that bought you the 04 and you are financially in good shape to pay for a brand new 08. You will then have to also negotiate the price of the new 08 down.
If that is the case.
