Wheel rash repair

Do yourself and your car a favor....take it to a body shop and have them take care of it. The dealer Had my wheels done by some “wheel repair company” when I bought my car. They looked nice but within a year the paint flaked off. Then I had a body shop do them and 4.5yrs later they are still holding up. Cost about $120/wheel.

I repaired some b7 Titanium wheels a couple years ago. Used permatex liquid metal filler, sanded it primed it and painted the problem areas. I should have done the whole wheel but was lazy... Much stronger than the bondo most people use.
Best bet is professional job if you have the budget.

I can't seem to find the images of before and after.

DIY Wheel Refurb

I did my wheels using these Chris Fix videos. I get great comments on them at AUDI club meets and so far, they're holding up as well as ones I had refurbed and powder coated by profis @ $140 per.. It is a lot of work to get good results though.Did them over the winter while my summers were off te car.
