Wheels 20x10.5 et27 with 275/35-20?
Looking for some new wheels for my s8, and was thinking about niche targa. I am not sure if they will work. I am not a wheel expert so I thought I ask you guys. Thanks

Net is apparently more or less yes. See visual below.
Essentially inside rim clearance remains same as stock. All the bump out is really on outside--as wider wheel lets tire stretch outward. Since spacer optimum on 20 x 9's at stock ET46 I found was around 12mm front and 20 rear, another cross check should be fine. In plain English tire is sort of resetting itself on a stretched wider rim with tire tread center point about 18mm outward (36mm/2). Sidewall will stretch toward bead area, but that is way away from fender lip in any scenario.

Niche ?? right here, 20's (not sure what model they are). 25mm offset I believe. Took this pix today, just polished them with a Mother's wheel ball and AutoGlym Renovator. Really popping.

I put 10mm spacers on the rear, in addition to the extra 10 or 15mm reduction in offset (25mm). But I think my wheels are 9"??
They don't stick out plenty of room to go. A wider wheel will have another 1/2 of the width poking out.
The A8 has plenty of space - it can handle ~ 20mm front and 30mm rear. Going from memory - all calcs should be verified.
10.5" is pretty wide with that rim width will stretch the tires too. A 275 is max 11" rim width and will looked stretched. A staggered setup would be ideal imo

If you were to stagger, based on the handling and the engine location of the A8, you should put the wider wheels up front- if you were looking for a handling benefit.
That being said. Don't do it.
