#2. Prettier and easier to clean.
I have the same wheel design on my 07 S4. It's hard to get in between the smaller gaps to clean brake dust, and believe me, you will have brake dust. I'd rather have the RS6-style ones.

#1 fo sho. Buy a soft bristle wheel brush to remove brake dust.
I use Wheel Wax on all my wheels. 2 coats and the brake dust practially falls off. (well not quite) but it is much easier to remove.
