Hey all—I'm getting the long beeeeeeep from my parking sensors and no display. A quick scan got me the code above.

From what I gather, this is a problem with the speaker and not the sensor?

Any help is appreciated!

The buzzer is in the trunk, under the rear shelf, just above the ski passage, a bit to the right.

I've pulled out the top and seat-facing carpet. So far I see metal and the subwoofer. Am I missing something?

Thanks!

Did you have to replace the speaker then? When you found the buzzer, what did you do to get rid of the fault - long beep? I'm getting the same.

I ordered a replacement speaker, but haven't replaced it yet. It's cheap ($22 from Genuine Audi Parts).

I ripped out the carpet, couldn't find anything so I put it back. Then Mishar was kind enough to post the diagrams above. I plan on making another attempt this week when I get time.

I got the long beep too, but mine is a parking sensor in the rear bumper...Been going on for about 2 months now. I assume I have to replace that sensor. Does anyone know if I just disconnect the sensor unit I get the replacement that the system would function normally? Thanks

Default FIXED!

Thanks again, Mishar.

Posting pictures in case it might help someone else.
  1. Remove the top trunk liner. It's a few plastic rivets and 4 phillips head screws that hold up the grocery bag hangers
  2. Towards the back of the trunk (bumper side) you'll see an oval plastic piece with a small access hole to the side. Just to the right (passeger side) of that you'll see two white rivets and two black rivets.
  3. The black rivets are the speaker that you need to replace. Pop those out and you can slide the speaker out through the access hole.
