Yellow suspension light off again after outside temperatures turn positive
The temperature here has been very reasonable and we are sitting at around 5 degrees C.
This afternoon the yellow light never came on.Usually it does within 3 minutes.
I am taking the car in soon for a diagnosis anyway.
Any ideas why the temperature is a factor?

Temperature affects the hardness of seals. As it warms up, they soften up, and are more likely to seal properly. I'm not sure that how much longer they will hold even in warmer temperatures.

I hope they hold until I find out what is wrong.
We have one of the most temperature extremes in the winter.
About 40 to 45 degrees spread for a given day .
Could be-30 or +10.Incredible.

I’m dealing with same issues. Summer time car will hold itself up almost indefinitely. Around 0C it will hold for a couple of days. -10C Will start noticing compressor running more often. Below -20C I won’t take car for long days where car parked outside in the cold for long. Car always stored in heated garage. I’m pretty sure it’s the drivers side front airbag as that’s the first to drop when in jack mode if left in cold. Have plenty of other vehicles to drive so haven’t dealt with the issue yet as it hasn’t been too much of a nusance.
Been keeping an eye out for a salvage car that matches mine closely to strip for parts and hope to get the necessary parts then!

I took it in but I think the shop was not interested in investigating it more.Probably they were busy.Just had the oil and air filters done.
My problem is that I have not noticed any corner going lower.(I measured)
Could it be just a leveling sensor?

I have the same issue with the light coming on during cold weather and, after the vehicle warms up a bit, I pull over turn the vehicle off, restart it and presto changeo no more yellow lighto. But if it's continuing in the warmer temps then I am not quite sure. There are WabCo compressor repair kits that replace the seals and some other components for about $40 that you can get; the pump itself is relatively easy to remove (up behind the front drivers side wheel). If I understand right, some kind of desiccant is required as well but nobody has been able to confirm to me exactly where that goes and how to seal it etc.
