2012 a8 clicking noise in left side dashboard

YES. I have a 2011 A8L and I bought it brand new. The clicking sound is a "Fuel Relay" issue. Apparently its common and lot of cars have them (is what my dealership told me). They also check with Audi America and then informed me that its not really an issue and car is fine.
I have called Audi American and made them aware of this issue. You can call yourself if you like (800-822-2834).
Audi America will advise the dealership to check with Audi Manufacturing (Europe) and they will all let us know if they have a fix to the car.
Dealership will just say there is nothing wrong with the car and performance is fine. Ask them that you want the clicking sound to stop completely.
Well the car will run without doors too that doesn't mean there is nothing wrong with the car.

I'm experiencing this as well. It comes from the dash to the left of the steering wheel. It may be coincidence, but it seems to have become apparent after monkeying around with the air suspension (lifting it to clear a high curb). Now it clicks with rough pavement - almost like it's a loose relay that lost its spring. Other than annoyance, no other issues.
Open to feedback on this one. DIY project?

I think I have this issue as well. Just a few faint clicks when I start up the car that seem to come from inside the dash on the left side. I soon forget it's there perhaps due to the radio or AC kicking. I'll have to pay attention next time to see if it stays or goes away on it's own.

I had clicking when I start the car up, from inside the dash on the left hand side (passenger side for me as I am in the UK). This was eventually diagnosed as the motorised valves/flaps for the air con/heating system, that send air in to the door to demist the side window, being jammed. Replaced under warranty and silent now.
