2013+ 4.0T Downpipes vibration FIX for $150 for out of warranty repair.. READ!
So I recently got my 2013 S8 4.0T with 60k miles and right away I noticed the 1k and 3k RPM vibration pretty bad. I did some research and found out the factory flex pipes located on the mid pipes AFTER the downpipes was the culprit. I bought these on amazon:
for $40/pair and had my local trusted exhaust shop cut the old flex pipes out and weld the new ones in. It took 2 hours of labor @ $50/hr and when I picked the car up it was completely vibration free! No more 3k or 1k rpm vibration at idle or while driving, all for $150. It sure beats the dealer installed price of $1500! Give it a try!

I ordered the linked flex pipes from First post and will be giving it a try next week. I’ll be doing back two rear muffler delete and ECS black chrome tip install as well. |

Local place hear in Arkansas. It cost $500 out the door. It has a nice deep growl but has almost 0 drone. Just drove with the wife myself and she liked it. (She likes loud though..) |
Finally getting around to doing this myself. Ordered the pipes that OP linked, going to have a muffler shop weld them in next week. I'll update with the results.
