Aghhhhh vibration
So tested for the vibration and lo and behold could feel it at 3k. Nothing at idle or 1k interestingly.
Just sent a note note to the dealer letting them know and asking them to commit to resolving before I purchase otherwise I walk away.
The lack of adaptive cruise control is also weighing heavy on my mind. Had it in my last car (Genesis G80 ultimate) and it’s a nice way to drive on the highway.

Didn't go with the '13 A8, bought a '15 A8 instead
Dealer came back and said they weren't prepared to fix which was a deal-breaker for me! Walked away, I believe they sold the car a few days later to a less informed customer 
I actually purchased my new-to-me A8 yesterday from an Audi dealer
2015 A8L 4.0T with 65k - Silver with black interior
Options:
20" 10 spoke wheels

Cold Weather Package
Driver Assistance Package
Panoramic Sunroof
Full LED Headlights
Black Alacantra Headliner
Dealer had replaced front brakes/rotors, exhaust system and completed 65k service

Extended warranty (Route 66) with my credit union for 3 years/36k miles from date of purchase for ~$2k
