Yeah, if raising it 1 inch won't do, I'll try 2.

But I'm guessing the "lift" function won't be of much use seen that, that's the height the car would be in, in that mode. Heh..

Sounds like a set of 18" wheels wth the correct disk height to clear the front calipers would help a lot. I have not looked personally but I'm sure someone makes them. I would not want to take 19's and up in ruts. If your bottoming out or are afraid of it I would just max out the OEM air setup. Programming it yourself will obviously get the maximum the shocks can do.

That's something I'm considering.

But will maxing out the bags make the ride harsher/sacrifice in ride quality/comfort?

Also, what do you mean "disk height"?

I don't think you will notice much of a difference but none of us have tried to my knowledge. Disk height is the wheels clearance for the caliper.

Oh okay!

Well I guess we'll find out soon.

Also, I was looking to install 17" rims instead. More "boots on the ground". Hah..

I'm not sure what the upper limit is, nor what it would do to ride quality and handling. I do know that in lift mode, it drives very similar to normal, so I suppose lifting it an inch wouldn't make a big difference either. I doubt it would cause any problems with the factory suspension either, but I would expect that pushing it to it's upper limit could cause it to get floaty.

I'll buy the VCDS thing and play with it and see what works.

Wish me luck!

You can raise the car from the mmi about as much as you want and as long as you dont do highways speeds it will stay raised.
