2015 Audi A8 4.0T new to forum and new turbos
Hello everyone, I’ve been wanting to post for a while and I’m finally getting around to it. I purchased my car last year and I’ve been really enjoying it. I previously owned a 2009 bmw 750i and I find the Audi far superior than my 7 in all aspects. I’ve done some upgrades like 21’’ wheels, carbon wrap interior and some vcds mods, I’ve also added a lip but I don’t have a pic handy. So far under warranty I’ve replaced the down pipes and the turbos just recently at 100,000km. It runs much better but unfortunately it seems no one can actually build a reliable 8cylinder turbo anymore. My 750 I also had the turbos replaced and I hear Mercedes experiences the same issues. To bad because I love my 8cylinders..

Looks great! Do your wheels have a stock finish or were they powder coated? I have the same with the platinum finish for my winter setup and was considering a powder coat and really like how yours look.

Oh, geez.... I just noticed you are in Ottowa, eh? You may want to seriously consider a dedicated winter tire/wheel setup.
This is my first venture into swapping wheels for the winter, and my experience has been very positive. As you can read from my link below, the winter wheels I bought were OEM's used/refur'b because I thought the winter wheels may take more of a beating so why buy new? The Quattro system is superlative in bad weather. Dedicated winter tires also have the benefit of being great on dry pavement as your regular All - Season tires tend to have compounds that get hard and brittle below freezing.

I do have my Oem 20’s wrapped with Yokohama bluearth winter tires...with summer tires it would be a death trap with our climate. The 21’s I have are Chinese rims but they have been great with no issues.

Hello friends! I want to offer you a turbo kit for increasing power. We are in Russia, so the price is very favorable for you. If you are interested in the offer, I can send graphics from the dino stand, our team’s YouTube channel and other information.
