Default 21inch wheels correct offset

Hello guys !

I have an opportunity to pickup a nice set of 21s for my A8L. I just want to know if they will fit because they're coming from a SQ5.

21x10.5 +35
275/35/21

Many thanks !!
Dohcs4 🙏😊

Yes they will. I am running 21x10.5 et30 with 275/35 tires and they are a great fit.

it is not just the offset you need to worry about
it’s the weight rating

a q5 weighs just over 4000 lbs
an a8l weights about 800lbs more

that’s 200lbs per wheel additional - and a q5 wheel is likely not designed for that

when I was buying winter wheels for my Porsche and q7 and s8 I spoke to Fuchs the wheel manufacturer who said the wheels are specifically weight rated and they strongly advise against putting wheels designed for a much lighter car on a heavier car - although the other way is obviously fine

FWIW, I expect the wheels in question are definitely aftermarket. 10.5 width is way off Q5/SQ5 typical OE width, which is 8.5 for the 20's or 21's. Same question applies as in prior post--are the wheels up to the weight and forces involved. SQ5's are porkier than standard Q5's. Like my hybrid, they weigh in at more like 4300 pounds. But even allowing for a few hundred pounds delta, on an aftermarket you would want to get back to the original specs for them.
