Thanks for all the help you guys! I'm halfway done. New check valve, separator and oil lines are all in. Tomorrow starts re-assembly so hopefully all goes well. i'll keep you guys posted. He did say he lives in New England, so hopefully he has 7/70 warranty coverage on the turbos. I did file a report with the NHTSA last week related to my turbo failure.
The issue has been resolved! Apparently Audi extended the warranty on the turbochargers for my model and year for 7/70, but he said it does NOT have to do with the emissions warranty. He also said that it is state specific and I'm located in Massachusetts, so not sure which states this would apply to, but if your from mass your covered for 7 years and 70k miles...

Can you get this in writing from your dealer?
And what year and model do you have? Any idea if it covers models with same engine platform?

That's great news! It is emissions-related - there is a screenshot upthread of the relevant 7/70 warranty for the states that follow the CARB provisions. In any event, that's awesome that you were covered.
Not gonna even try to get this in writing from them, but you can try if you want to. I went to Audi Natick. I have a 2013 A8 4.0TT and not sure if it covers other platforms.
