Hey guys!

I was catching up on some changes that Audi of America is making for the RS7, and found a pic another member posted that happened to have some A8 changes on it as well. Not sure how to link a pic, but the link below is to the thread.

Anyway, what caught my eye was that Audi is dropping Emerald Green, Quartz Grey, and Night Blue in favor of Midnight Blue and Monsoon Grey.

Hate to be the downer here, but in my opinion these colors helped Audi differentiate the A6/7/8 from their lesser brethren. Also, they were colors that were different from many of the other automakers out there. When we got the Q7, we specifically wanted Quartz Grey because it was a unique color, that was neither grey or silver. Audi dropped the color after the 2008 model year. Same thing with the A4/5 and Q5--after 2 model years Quartz was dropped. The take rate for the color was still great, but its like Audi keeps getting rid of the color in favor of more "bland" colors.

What do you A8 owners think of this? At least if you have one of these colors, your A/S8 will be a little more unique...
