Audi extended warranty?
If I bought an A8L from non Audi dealer, can I still go to an Audi dealership to get Audi extended warranty or there is no such thing as Audi extended warranty besides CPO. The car has less than 20k miles and 2016?
Do they still have the 6/100k any more?
Thanks,
Louis

Sorry, it is not possible to get CPO certification after the sale. You will have to look into a third-party warranty for your car. As for the 6yr/100K CPO warranty, it has been reduced To 5yr/Unlimited miles for sales in 2018 and later. Therefore the premium paid for a CPO car is not as valuable as it used to be.

So, the best way is to buy the extended warranty at the non Audi Dealer that I'd buy from? I thought as long as the original Warranty is still in effect, any Audi dealer should be able to sell you the extended warranty.

You can get an extended warranty from your local Audi dealer, but it is not the same as the CPO warranty. The extended warranty will be offered by a third-party, and come with its own coverages and limitations. The CPO warranty is valid at all Audi dealers nationwide. The extended warranty you buy from a third-party will have its own coverage requirements. Compare rates and coverages from your AAA club, your credit union, and your Audi dealer before you make a decision.

extended warranty
I bought car from non dealer and got extended Audi warranty from Audi dealer out of state by searching internet for Audi dealer sales. I got Platinum Plan 10year/100,000 mile warranty. Talk to finance department at dealership.

Try MAP premium from EFG Companies. $100 deductible. Rates are good if you purchase while still under factory warranty. Mine for a 2014 S8 was under $4k for 60 month / 60,000 coverage. I purchased at 44k miles so I am covered until 104k. The rates provided were the same for all A8 and S8's. I thought it was a fair price for a car with a $131k sticker price. Haven't used the coverage yet.
