Default Audi Recalls Nearly 75,000 Vehicles Due to Fire Risk

No further details at this time...Looks like 'some' D4's are affected.

Default Gas-line

Had my gas line replaced 3 weeks ago. Must be from that recall.

I just received something in the mail from Audi....
I assumed it was what I had fixed back in the summer of 2018, the fuel line pump or something?

Is this not the same?

EDIT: Just spoke with a local dealer, indeed another recall. Booked in on the 19th to get it figured out. Fingers crossed for the R8 loaner car......

I think that was a different recall for a similar problem. I don't think my vehicle was included at the time. The newer recall includes 2016 model year cars, the previous version only went to 2015.

Got my notice last week and threw it away because I thought it was the same repair. Looks like I have to call the dealer soon...

Is this for gas only engines? Or are diesels affected also?

Thank you!

Edit: I guess the answer to that question is no. No open recalls for my vehicle at this time.
