Default I took delivery of my A8

My A8 arrived last month. I am so impressed with this car. My wife, who has disliked pretty much every Audi I ever owned, loves this one because of the comfort and quiet.

Here's the funny part. We love the Bose stereo. This week, I had an opportunity to drive the A7 with the B&O stereo and I definately prefer my Bose. The B&O has great stereo imaging, but the sound quality is too bright to my ears and there is not enough bottom end.

So in the end, I saved $6,300 and prefer the less expensive system.

I'm glad you both like it and are enjoying the car.

I'm going to skip changing the sound system from the Bose in this car with a McIntosh rig I have been using for years. It blows the B&O from the D3 out of the water in terms of quality (and a bit more quantity too!).

Maybe the D5 (2017/2018?).

Default Tested the Bose and B&O side by side. Very audible diifrence

I had the opportunity of listening to both the Bose and the B&O. The B&O was far more realistic and had deeper Bass. I played the same audio source on both Audi A8's so interior is the same.

If you are an audiophile and have the budget for it I say - Get it!!!

I concur Bang $ Olufsen is worth the money if you can afford it I have it on my D3 and what a treat.

I've listen to both system in the A8 and the new A6, yes there is a difference, especially in the quality of the bass and the absolute qualities of those highs but these are mostly noticeable when sat still, get going and up to motorway speeds and it's much less noticeable.

If the money doesn't worry you then by all means get it but at 6 times the price of the Bose it's a good 3 times too expensive in my opinion.
