Beater and the Beast
Yesterday's 4" of snow is melting nicely today. Even though the whole sky is a brilliant blue, it means the roads are awash in melting snow water. I drive the Beater (see signature) when the roads are like this and keep the Beast in it's protected environment. Was fortunate enough to be able to wash the Beast the day before the snow so it sitting in the garage all nice and clean while snarling and snapping and chomping at the bit to go out and play. Does this qualify as OCD or am I just like the rest of you??

I go from one extreme the next!
S8 parked nicely in the garage mostly during the week.
Then drive a smart car majority of the time.....
In all honesty, the smart car is a lot of fun to drive.
I baby the S8 waaaayy too much sadly (which is good for the next owner I guess)

I live not far from you in Peters township, I have a 2015 s8 and although it is garage kept I drive it in any type of weather. Do yourself a favor and take it to the local dealer and get the apr stage 1 tune. YOu wont believe the difference even with a s8

100% on the same page. I can't think of a situation where I wouldn't drive her - barring a hailstorm. APR turns the S8 into a supercar (one would argue it ready is) - but only when you want to tap into it. The rush at WOT can only be replicated by a few other cars out there. It's quite the sleeper.

It's still my go-to everyday car. I was referring to situations where, the day after you scrub the bajeebees out of it and it snows like a *****, it can sit in the garage for a few days until the salt and grime wash away. I bought mine on May 7 at 18k and will turn 35k this week....the car does not sit!
