Beginning and end of D5 competition; not impressed by Audi's release

For the average car buyer it's easy to see why they choose the Tesla. The large center screen is stunning and it just plain works. No need to read instructions to figure out how to operate it. The driving experience is equally stunning. The instant throttle response from electric is just amazing. Having said all that the build quality really isn't very good and they tend to have a lot of issues. But many if not most buyers don't see the build quality issues and don't do the research so they don't realize the number of issues. Personally I'm going to stick with my D4.

Absent is correct,
it appears that Elon Musk, who seems to have mastered the modern liberal art of sucking the taxpayer for subsidies for his Tesla project is not aware, or doesn't want to be, that one set of Tesla's battery production produces as much of CO2 as 8 years of driving on gas.
I bet if subsidies were taken away Tesla's sales would tank.
Btw, I'm very happy with my second '17 S8 (first one was '14). Show me a luxury sedan with better engine/tranny and I'll test drive it tomorrow.
