hy i have a problem with the boot closing , after having a diagnostic from audi i was told it was the boot looc , i replaced it the problem is still there ? boot will not close correct so i lose my car alrm security system , obviously the prob is now the main boot lock motor ? if i take out the fuse ,,,whevever that is and open and close boot manually will i get the alarm system back ?? ta .

That took some effort to read, but I suppose the question is how is it not closing correctly? Is it just not pulling down the boot lid tight? Is it closing unevenly? Or something else?
