Default Bought ‘16 D4 yesterday (3.0)

Picked up a D4 yesterday. Now I have a D2, D3 and D4. Anyone have a V8 and D5 to complete the collection? I definitely need to thin herd. I looked for a long time and this was definitely the best of the bunch. There is a ‘15 in Orlando that is def worth a look, ping me for details. I just couldn’t find the time for a flight and drive back to CT.

This one has 36k, all the options I wanted (Exec + pano) but does not have Driver Assist pkg which I really wanted. Hoping I won’t immediately regret that. I did a cursory look at doing a retrofit which I might be crazy enough to do at some point. Price was $37,500. One year left on factory warranty but is a non CPO car. The car was prepped as CPO (brakes/rotors, wheel refinish, etc.). I have some minor paint correction to do but otherwise the car doesn’t need anything (aside from a dipstick). I can’t believe people don’t want to get a visual on the oil level anymore.

I was generally looking for ‘15/‘16 model years and probably 20% of them had water pump replacement on the carfax. Is there a cutoff date for the upgraded pump? I’m hoping the 2016’s have it or that that it fails within the next year.

I’m sure I’ll have some startup questions for you guys. I’m going to play around with the tire pressure but will probably want to put on 19’s if anyone is intererested in the 20’s that are on there now.

thanks

I wouldn't get one without Driver Assistance package, it's only $2200 option but for some reasons, not many have them. Stupid marketing people, they rather to put stupid 20 and 21" wheels instead.
Cheers,
Louis

Itoolz - You are correct. This convenience and safety feature is much more appropriate in a luxury car than bigger wheels. It is a big stress reducer in daily driving. After all, this is a German Luxury flagship car, not a rice-burner!
