What are the best current options for getting a headunit that supports CarPlay/Android Auto in a slighly older D4 S8? I've grown rather accustomed to it in my other vehicles and was hoping there was a solution for a 2015 or 2016.

I just finished installing a navtek hdmi input to mirror my iPhone. closest thing to legit CarPlay as I found for our cars. It's a good option, I think the only option I could find.

audio via bluetooth, to activate the cdmi input all I have to do in hold down the NAV button. Only annoyance I have is when the hdmi is activated, you have to manual have to click out of the screen when you engage reverse gear. all the equipment is plug and play minus a few power and ground wires. everything fit nice and tight into the glove box where the disc changer would sit. the I ran the lightening cable out from the back of the glove box.
