Default cigarette lighter not working

Hi guys can anyone help me. My cigaretter lighter is not working.
This car is new by no means can it be a fuse.
If it is what is the location of the fuse box. Thanks.

had this happen twice already. can't recall which fuse but I think it's in the trunk. and of course it's the only fuse not locatable in the manual. I had the dealer replace the fuse for me

There's also a TSB on this, where the socket can be damaged by plugging in chargers.

Does the cigarette lighter heat up if you press it in and hold it? (does it stay in on it's own?)

I had a blown fuse as well. The panel is one that mounts behind the rear seat in the trunk. I had to do the pull every fuse n the assigned row to find it as the book is not that descriptive on which one it is.

There are testers that will show you a blown fuse without removing it. They fit into the 2 small "contacts" at the top of the fuse.

call the dealer, find out which fuse it is, and buy a bunch at autozone and a fuse puller

Hi no the cigarette lighter doesnt stay in on its own. The lighter usually turns on with a red halo like the rest of the cab panels radio dash...
I see the fuse box in the rear but dont want to damage anything since its a lease in case i return it for another or may stay with it.
Im currently using the rear lighter to plug in my dash cam.

The manual illustrate the fuse box and the column of fuses but doesnt include how to remove the cover. How many clips and its location. If i know that shouldnt be a problem.
I may take it to the dealer to replace the fuse for me.

By the way, whats a TSB?
Thanks.

Did you have any difficulty in removing the cover?

TSB, Technical Service Bulletin

The TSB I read said that putting something in the lighter socket that has too big of an end will damage the socket, causing it to not supply power and/or not hold the lighter in the down/on position.

I had the same issue when I took delivery of my SQ5. It turned out to be a loose socket making marginal contact. I'd start there if I were you.
