Clunking noise from the rear when going over bumps and dips...
any idea? I'm sure this has been discussed but when I search clunk or clunking didn't see anything. Granted my car is a 2013 so maybe it's something normal (meaning it happens after time) and just needs to be fixed.

Can't recall hearing about that complaint. I had a clunk from under the car (2011 D4) near the area under the center console stack in the first few months after delivery---turned out to be a loose transmission mount.

No D4 specific knowledge, but you might try getting under the trunk area and manhandling the exhaust back and forth some to see if it hits the body or rear subframe somewhere. I had that issue on my 2006 D3 W12 and dealer got it squared away. Also had it at one point with A6 4.2. In each case, a staccato sound of something hitting underneath toward rear right alongside a sharp bump in road.
Also if you have a 4.0T (motor not in your sig...) and had the vibration related headpipe work done, maybe they tweaked it some. Even though they are supposed to be doing the opposite of course--aligning it correctly among other things.

I have the wuss package on my D4, 3.0. But jack88 was nice to call it a 3.0t - i wish it was a twin turbo. I'll check. my guess is it's something the dealer has to deal with and my dime, nothing seems to be covered under CPO really, unless the car explodes...
