Can be done, you just have to pay the $ for Audi exclusive and wait the time for the special order and delivery cycle. They will paint any color used on any Audi basically, and with enough time and $ will paint others too. Paint is in its own category with more streamlined ordering.

There are endless other possibilities for interiors too. Probably only a handful ever get done. During my search, I came across a 2015 4.0T that had a lot of interior tweaking. Had been titled in MI originally, and a guess is some Audi USA exec. special ordered it. Quattro Quarterly (the ACNA magazine) ran a story on some guy who did a soup to nuts order on one maybe a year ago.

$3,900 MSRP for Audi Exclusive paint (add approx. 30-days to production cycle). I did it, and would likely do it again. As previously mentioned, non-Audi pallet color will run higher (IIRC $6,400).

Well paint me learned!

I guess I will have to order my next S8 red!
