Does A8 Limo mean it's an A8L and Options Decoder?
I discovered a piece of paper glued into one of y booklets. It says A8 Lim on it and a lot of option codes for the car. Does that "Lim" mean it's an A8L model? Also, does anyone have a link to a decoder for the options?
Thanks https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.aud...23c1ab6928.jpg |
Not sure about your specific vehicle, but here is a fun fact: What we call an "executive sedan" or "luxury sedan" in the United States, is typically labeled by manufacturers as a "business limousine" or sometimes even just "limousine" over in Germany.

As to your decoder question, there is an extremely nice guy on the D3 forum who has a VIN decoder thread, if you give him your VIN he will give you a PDF of the build sheet for your individual vehicle. Just be patient, he will respond, after all he does this for free and does get quite a few requests...

Limousine is sedan as opposed to station wagon.
I have A8L Lim. on my sticker. This is quite common here in Europe to call big sedans, limousines |
