Edited: Current 2016 Order Guide covering D4's?... Yes, S8 Plus is coming to USA

Does anyone have access to a very current 2016 model year Audi USA order guide, like one published in just the past couple of months? I already have the May 2015 version which included prices and configurations for the 2016 model year D4 (A8L, S8, W12), but not one after that. I posted the May one here, which for most purposes is still fine and matches up to various stickers and prices I have seen on D4's currently at dealers.

For various reasons though I am almost sure there is a yet newer order guide/supplement relevant to D4's. I poked around online and only found a version/supplement covering the pending new versions of the 2017 Q7 and R8 (though with no prices there--just order codes).

Can message me privately if preferred.

[See later replies fleshing out S8 Plus info.]

Here are the pages from the 10-13-15 Guide. Looks like S8 (normal version) ordering has been discontinued---Can only order the S8 Plus now in U.S. (no pricing yet).

Thus, the S8 Plus is indeed coming as a 2016

Thanks! I suspected on the S8 Plus, but didn't realize the "standard S8" was also discontinued. For others not familiar with it, HP goes from 520 to 605, and torque is up some.

There are 2016 S8's at dealerships now--the "prior" 520HP spec. My sense is the S8 Plus's may arrive in the next month or two, though so far no pricing is given per the order guide posted here.

Other than the HP bump they still have most everything else separated out options wise like the 520HP version. Darker chrome bits aside, the only specific standard add seems to be back to prior direct sensor TPMS like D3...if they got that description correct...plus the small painted trunk spoiler.

All the other goodies are either in the likely pricy dynamic package (sport exhaust, ceramics, 190MPH governor); or still broken out like upgraded interiors (now adding the black interior w/ red stitching per the recent release pics), matte silver paint, etc. Maybe the now 450HP 4.0T had just pushed up too close for US market purposes, so they are upping HP w/out much change in price and then the dynamic package is the step up--hard to know. In Europe it is priced up to the "basic" Plus level from the 520HP version that remains on the market there, then priced up yet further for the dynamic package; end result there is around W12 pricing.

FWIW for others, best info I've found on S8 Plus that is in one place, borrowing from another board: In Detail: Audi S8 plus ? Pinnacle of Sportiness - Fourtitude.com It has also been on the Audi UK site for a while as a choice when you go to build an S8.

My guess is the dynamic pack will add ~10k to the price tag..... Good to see active TPMS come back. I know the RS7 has it and so does the R8. It looks like Audi is going back to sensors on their high speed models and leaving passive TPMS for the 155 and under crowd.

S8 Plus USA pricing released yet?

Per today's announce that they will officially roll out the S8 Plus to the US market at the LA show. Never mind that per the order guide we could see it coming some weeks ago.

Anyway, I'm curious whether they have released pricing yet? Any further tweak to the order guide yet available? Unless they are doing a last hoorah sort of price premium play for the D4 S8 like they did with the RS6 back at the end of the A5 A6/S6 run, without the 520HP S8 like they left around in Europe, I'm guessing the base price mark up may be relatively modest. TDI problems may be making the dealers yet hungrier. They seemed already motivated to move S8's at Q3 quarter end from a recent visit.

Pricing is up on audiusa website.

Whoa.....Dynamic package with ceramic brakes, sports exhaust, speed limiter upped to 190mph, and a few other things listed at $11K. They did keep the base price @ $114,000 reasonable however.

So from looking at the Audi USA web site, they basically left the base and options pricing all exactly the same. But they eliminated the credit for the cold weather and driver's assistance packages which has the effect of raising the effective retail price $2850 overall if you want those. Or, viewed differently--and the way I kind of thought of it when I was looking some months ago--they had effectively cut the price of the S8 some (or upped the equipment levels) with those credits and now they are undoing that.

The dynamic package is really where all the new higher prices come in. Other than that, for the cost of losing a couple of prior credits if you want those features, it's a straight power increase with little price impact. Nice to see. Makes the earlier 2016 S8's less attractive though side by side; I did notice dealer was pretty interested in moving those at end of Q3 and they did know about the Plus coming to the U.S. by then.
