Efficiency mode in drive select
All-
In playing around with the apps built into OBDeleven, one of them is to add additional modes in the drive selector in the MMI. One such mode is "efficiency"
I typically drive in auto and occasionally in comfort. What would this additional mode get me, given the lack of auto start/stop and lack of variables boost pressures given the NA 4.2?
Any of you have experience with this?

I am using it sometimes in...S8. S8 does not have stop start either. It is hard to really sense a difference in S8, but then ridiculous HP and torque so hardly matters on power feel. I'm not sure if it is adding MPG's, but at most it would probably be a few percent. What it does seem to do in S8 is make the throttle a little more linear. I prefer that setting to the comfort setting if I set everything individully when in "D" where I then use the standard setting for throttle.

efficiency is avaliable by default setting here in the middle east (and european spec).
change shift points, and lowers the throttle response, changes AC mode to efficient along altering the transmission to shift sooner.
