Default End of lease

So my 2015 will be off lease in 2 months. It's been a wonderful car and is much as I try and find something else I like I'm kind of stuck on this A8 thing. I saw a 2017 with 8000 miles on it for roughly $47,000. 3.0 engine. thoughts?

Sounds like a decent deal. I've seen 4.0's in the mid $60's.

What engine do you have now?

Also, the 3.0T can be boosted to near 4.0T power levels for about $500.

How about a lease on a new 2018 left over 3.0t? You could likely hammer a pretty good deal I would think.

2017 with that mileage at that price? If it has the options you need, I say pounce. I just purchased a 2015 4.0T off lease for $49 with 18k miles and all the options i need. It could turn out to be a 10-year car.....

Pulled the trigger. Very satisfied..8K miles $48k, nicely equipped. Only one key, so I guess the dealer can get me one foe a few bucks?

if $265 is a few bucks, then yes. I misplaced my second key for 6 months. Finally bought a replacement and found the missing key the next dat. Key is $200 and reprogramming is $65. Lots of posts on this subject, but I’ll save you the trouble. You need to go the dealer to buy and have the programming done. No alternate source out there.

Yeah, hate to spend the money on it but having only one key really isn't an option. Thanks for the heads up, dealer time I guess
