Engine mount fault code won't go away
Hi Audi experts,
Could use some help regarding the engine mount on my 13 A8L 4.0T. I have recently replaced broken engine mounts on my car to solve a vibration issue when in 4 cylinder mode. However I keep getting this fault code under "Address BA: Motormounts" which comes right back up after I delete it. I am wondering if anyone has any experience on those "active" engine mounts which are known to fail easily. Do they need to be "reprogrammed" or "recalibrated" after replacing?

BTW when I scaned the car I also got this fault code which I've never seen before. Doesn't seem to affect any functionality though. Any idea what caused that?

Crap! How much will the dealer charge for reprogramming? I have the same issue with my 13 4.0t, vibration in 4 cyl mode and VCDS says a bad motor mount. Was going to have a local Indy I trust do it, but if I have to have the dealer do the reprogram I wonder if I should just have them to the work in the first place...

Before I purchased a VCDS unit, I had the "inspection due" message. The local Audi dealership quoted me $40 to reset it. I imagine your cost would be about the same.
My car still has CPO coverage, so I waited until a few other things needed to be done (had CEL and a few other quibbles). They reset the "inspection due" message at no charge afterall.

How much should I expect it to cost to replace a motor mount? I’m have a similar vibration in 4 cyl mode, got a quote of $1300 for parts/labor. Wondering if I can live with the vibration...
