Floor mats... a word of warning

I ordered these floor mats for the A8L and they look great contrasting the Titanium.

So.... I decided to order the matching rear ones.

Well those are part number 4H0061276MNO for the A8, not the A8L because they are about 8" too short.

If the long wheelbase part turns up in my search I'll append this post.
Otherwise wanted to warn you guys that you will get really tiny looking rear mats for your $72.

If you get the all-weather (rubber) winter mats, they come in a size that will fit the A8L rear cabin (which is what I did).

I considered the all weather mats but since it almost never snows in NC decided to go with the Lloyd Ultimat in black for the rear.

Ahh, but it does rain there, with a bit of mud? :-)

Ah, and that's why me and the missus are coming down mid-October to check out the NC Coastal areas near Wilmington. She calls Metro Boston "the Frozen Tundra" and I've had my fill of quantifying the Winter's severity by how many times I have to pull the snowblower out... Any suggestions?

BTW, sorry for hijacking the thread

Mud on your shoes = no riding in the A8 ;)
Which gives me an idea - perhaps I should get a box of those disposable booties the repairmen use when they visit the house.

Honestly I've spent very little time at the coast so can't tell you much about it.
I hear it's beautiful though.

After you've been here a few years, and 50 is positively freezing, you will still enjoy it !

Your place must be nicer than mine then... our repair men wipe their feet on the way out...;)

Don't your guys get all that birdseed flavoured pizza on their boots? :D
