My wife broke ours off backing out of garage and checked with Audi dealer and they wanted to charge me $250 for fin and 3 hours or more labor...I checked with a friend that does auto upholstery locally and he said he could install it...took him less than an hour and charged me $60, part cost $187. Almost forget, fin came in gray prime and went to auto parts store and bought a can of black touch up paint to match color of car...all works well...good luck

The inside headliner near the rear window and half way to side window needs to be unclipped and pulled down back, then unplug the wires and unscrew GPS receiver and old fin and replace with the new, plug wires back in and replace headliner. It's a job for an auto upholstery mechanic.

They're actually both GPS in my case. The one in dash is for detecting speed/red light cameras prior to reaching them.
Also three false auto door activations will lock them out. Among other things.
The shark fin is for navigation etc.
