2001 S8

Hey D4'ers

Wanted to say hello. I recently purchased a 2012 A8L. I'm quite excited with the purchase, because I was fortunate enough to find an A8 built almost exactly how I would have order it from the factory. Plus, it only had 18,000 miles on it. I'm coming from the D2 world. Where there I drove a 2001 S8, named Heidi .

I look forward to adding value and insight where I can on this forum. While getting help from an excellent forum group.

Thanks aeggroup. Found it located in Chicago. Jumped on it as fast as I could.

Thanks andrewmr. I couldn't believe I found it spec'd like that and with so few miles. It was a no-brainer for me. The only thing I wished it had was dual pane glass.

On my experience with the dealership; I was amazed at how hard it was to get the deal done with Motor Werks of Barrington. It was a seven-day ordeal that left me frustrated and embarrassed for the dealership. However, I got the deal done and love the car.
