+1 on recent answers. From others who have asked, getting dealer to do it seems rare. Get VCDS if you intend to own Audis and want to save money post warranty, as well as check on car for any warranty issues to report for that matter

Not a big fan of it so far, but the Carista app w/ knock off cable can supposedly do it, at least with Android phones. Would have to search to confirm for iPhones. Since I have the VCDS and at best this seems to be "Pictionary Junior," I have not gotten into it much. It may be "good enough" for basic config. stuff, but likely not for robust diagnostics.
