How much are folks paying for 4 wheel alignment

Here is a link for raised toe adjustment.

As for whether it needs it or not, it depends on whether the alignment is out of spec. If it's out of spec, it needs to be adjusted/set.
I've paid as much as $180 for a four wheel adjustment.

I paid $199 at the dealer last week for our A6 wagon. Used to be $169 and even less when there was a coupon/discount.

FWIW, I had trouble in VA at a BMW dealer who couldn't do it.
Kind of like getting Mexico to pay for the wall, but there it is.
The only times since August 2004 I've had the E46 M3 aligned was when I had the front lower ball joints replaced (have to replace the entire aluminum lower wishbone, only RH bj was bad but I replaced both sides) and the right rear trailing arm (bent...don't ask) replaced. Car doesn't eat up tires unevenly....it eats them up across the entire rear tread...😎
Michelin Pilot Sports FTW!!! I went through two sets of Conti Sport Contact M3 specific to the car and still have a third pair of new front M3 Contis tires but last time I replaced the rears only I used Michelin Pilots...much more sticky!!! The Dinan stuff not to mention my lead foot was spinning the Contis/traction control allatime. The Michelins are much better in the dry and somewhat better in wet.

Hmmm...
Haven't had the D4 done, but had the D3 W12 and Q5 done, and C5 A6 4.2 a few times. All at...Mike's Tire Outlet. Yep. Usually costs me $95 big ones, sometimes a little less. Up some from the late 90's GMC Sonoma I took in recently that is more their std. fare--that one actually still needs the "lube job" too w/ the grease fittings. But all still the same computerized alignment rack, bolt turning to spec, etc.
Have gotten some decent discount coupon deals in mail from dealer a few times, but never at times to when needed--which are basically one of serious suspension work, big pothole hit or wife's latest parking by Braille. The last usually with a trip to the wheel repaint place.
Different in turn than the big bucks optical alignment stuff. Got the usual lecture on Q5 w/ side assist that car will go to Hell in a hand basket without the dealer alignment and some magic pixie dust. But my $95 std. at Mike's set it straight w/ no electronic hissy fits. Will see what happens w/ pending S8 windshield replace w/ a winter rock hit. On comprehensive/glass insurance claim so will see if various car sensors in windshield area act up post-replace.

$40 at tire warehouse with the cash discount. Still occasionally pulls to the right, but doesn't do it consistently, makes me wonder if there is some up with the steering rack. Tires are wearing even.
