I'd assume there are crooks out there rolling back audi odometers on a daily basis, especially at places you might expect. Has anyone encountered any cars they were suspicious of the mileage on it?

Better be sure to get a Carfax and look closely at it.

In Europe there is a service network system that an authorized dealer can check all the services done and at what milage. Perhaps there is something similar in the US.
It saved me when I was about to buy a D3 S8 a few years back.
