Inspection Due reset
I’ve searched up and down and can’t seem to find how to reset my “Inspection Due” with OBDeleven.
Can someone point me in the right direction? I’ve managed to reset it to 10000miles/365days. The warning still pops up though. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.aud...e7210aa2f.jpeg |
Found someone on the Q7 forum with the solution.
OBDeleven > Apps > Workshop > Inspection Service Reset https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.aud...ceda80887f.png |
I've used the Inspection service reset to change the mileage and days, however, it will not kill the "inspection due " message

You need VCDS and it is not easy, there are a couple of (not intuitive) steps. I would try to search the archives....

It is fairly easy to do with VCDS.
Instructions for our cars starts at 1:51 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8cgdRzCATs&t=116s I had to pick the second drop down option and it worked! Finally. Thank you sir.. VCDS runs two different scripts, based on the drop down menu to login and reset specific values in the controller. |
