Hi experts,

Saw this on the front of a D4 and I've never seen one without fog lights...does this have the fogs hidden behind the side grilles or simply did not come with fog lights?

Those of us w/ facelift headlights don't have any foglights either. What looks like foglight are twinned sensors for the adaptive cruise. Not sure about pre-facelift ones, but a guess is car in that picture does't have adaptive.

The headlights on this car look different than the facelift, full led ones...

All A8's with LED headlights have the fog lights integrated in with the headlamps. The HID headlight equipped models do not have fog lights. All facelifted models have LED headlights.

Most A8's have the LED lights but there are some with HID. As others have stated there are no fog lights in the lower grill. Just ACC sensors.

Fwiw, the car is a 2013 with full LED but no ACC, Hence why the confusion on my part.

Just an FYI the adaptive cruise in the A8 D4 is very good. Much improved over the D3.

Good info, but model I'm looking at has the following options...but was just a bit surprised not to see fog lights on the lower side grilles:

- Sport Design Package
- Convenience package
- Warm Weather package
- LED headlights
- Extended leather package

yep, we don't have fog lights in and of themselves.

Try the LED all weather switch if you buy and you will see they have much the same effect as fog lights. Lighting is solid big picture.
