I have been searching the forums to see if this is possible but have not found it so far so im creating this thread.

My A8L has 3 interior lighting color profiles:

Ivory
Polar
Ruby/Polar

I was trying to see if there was a way of creating a color profile for Ruby/Ivory as I think it would look good and see no reason why the top lights cant be Ivory while the rest stay Ruby if it could do it with Polar. Can the MMI be programmed / modded in this way to add it as a choice? Thank you.

Well, maybe you can help me with my current issue...
I don't know how I did that but I lost the color profiles...

Please, do you know what module / coding is responsible for it? I also have an A8L..

Im not sure what module controls the lighting profiles, I think its the mmi itself but cant say for sure since im not into the coding / modding yet. Maybe someone that knows on this board could chime in?

I tried a lot of combination in MMI 5F module to no avail ...

I'd like to do the same in my 2011 A8L. I have a VCDS and may think to ask Ross Tech about this.
My instinct says it can be done. But, how??

Frankly, I think this should have been one of the defaults from the factory as it wouldn't have cost any extra to add that profile or to allow a user to select the color separately for the top lights and the bottom lights. Let me know if you find anything out from Ross. Thanks.

I agree....I looked for the exact same when I first bought my car. The polar just burns by eyes and the Ruby is so calming.

We have this:

red/clean white
red/red
Blue/clean white
Blue/blue
White/white

It removes any halogen color
