Interior room: A8>A7>A6?

Interior room: A8>A7>A6?
I am trying to decide which car to replace my 2005 audi A8L. I'm 6'4" tall.
I understand that the A8 and the A8L have the same room in the front seat and the rear seat has about 5" less in the back of the A8.
I'd like to know how the A8 compares to the A7 and the A6 for room in the front seat AND ALSO a separate question, how they compare in the rear seat.
I appreciate any comments and discussion.

Take a look at the interior technical specs here: https://www.audiworld.com/model/
or in the brochure on the AudiUSA website.
Those will give you actual volumetric data points as opposed to an individual's feelings.

I am a tall person also and I used to have an S6. Leg room behind me was very very little. I now have an A8L and can take more then 2 people with me when I drive.

I have a 2013 S6 and a 2013 A8 NWB.
If you are 6' 4" tall, then your rear seat passengers will not be happy in an A6 for long distances. I am 5' 7" tall, and I just measured my leg room in the back of the S6. When I sit in the back with my driver seat adjusted for my driving position, there is a 6 inch space between the front of my kneecap and the back of the driver seat. If you were driving my car, I'm sure that my knee would be almost touching the driver seat.
An A7 is about the same size as the A6, but with a lower sloping roof line in back due to the liftback design. That means rear passengers would have slightly less head room compared to an A6.
My A8 NWB has more legroom in back than my S6, but it's not a whole lot more. Maybe 1 or 2 inches. I would suggest the A8L might be the car for you. Even with your seat moved back, the rear passengers would be able to stretch out comfortably.
Of course, the best way to decide is to visit a dealer and sit in the various models.

I have an Rs6 and a A8L.
I'm 6' and with my RS drivers seat positioned for me I can still fit comfortably in the back seat.
In the A8L with the drivers seat set for my driving position I can sit very comfortably in the back and am able to get up and walk around in the rear cabin once the seat belt light is out. It's huge. That's why I got it. 16 year old, 8 year old and 6 year old all fit in together.

Navin,
I'm in KC too. Getting ready to trade or sell my 2008 A8 and went by the Dealer to check out the Used 2012 or newer A8. at 6'2" tall tried to sit in the back seat of a A7 and could not do it. My kids are 6'2 and taller. So I guess it will have to be another A8 or perhaps a Lexus 460LS.
You looking at new or used A8's.
